I say if they are going to charge this tax to us the US needs to charge their citizens when they come here. Without tourism to these areas they are screwed as a big chunk of the money Mexico gets in from the U.S. U.S. should charge the same amount to help pay for all the illegals they let through their county on the way to the U.S.

Honestly this review seems suspicious. Like you purposely posted the most lackluster food there or got very unlucky? The two couples I know who attended this resort both raved about the food

NAILED IT. This review perfectly sums up the strengths of each resort. Besides your list, I also like Atelier's buffet restaurant open breakfast lunch and dinner. Far and away our favorite place to eat, no reservation needed AND we thought our meals there were better than the restaurants including the steak house. At 3:40 -- that's my man Fidencio up in the EPM EC lounge. He's there bright and early serving up my breakfast tequila. While I am not a pool person, what I love about EPM / EC around Christmas is the club pools are heated. One more EPM favorite --- the wood fired pizza next to the outdoor bar near bldg 9. Nice young lady making them fresh and she knows what to do when I ask her to "burn it".

Amazing how big of a scam the Palace Resorts have become! Since 2007 the Palace Resorts have gone down hill and no longer 5 star resorts. Your contract is not something set in stone. Your best bet is NOT to be scammed = JUST SAY NO

Hi, we love your vids! My husband and I are planning on going to the Dominican for the first time this August. Can you please help us out. We have watched a ton of videos on 2 resorts we're interested in. The Majestic Mirage or the Excellence El Carmen. We love the beach, good food and the jacuzzi on the balcony, possibly a swim up. We read that the beach at the Majestic Mirage is nicer than the Excellence El Carmen. Not sure. Please help! Thanks! ☺️

The restaurants are one of my favorite parts of an all inclusive. How does the access/availability of the restaurant dining change in Riviera Maya premium vs non premium? Additionally, is there any hope to eat in the other hotel area restaurants without a premium level?

Excellence is nice but I appreciate the room layout of Atelier over most Caribbean resorts I’ve visited, where the bathroom is too close or connected to the bedroom. Nothing romantic about being in bed and hearing water from the sink or toilets flushing. 😊 Atelier Inspira is expensive, but the butler service is world class.

I just completed my first eticket. It was a little bit of a pain, but luckily, I have a network of friends who helped me. Embarkation -- where you are boarding the plane or your point of origin. For example, if you are flying in from Newark, NJ, you would enter the airport code, which is EWR. Disembarkation -- the airport where you are traveling to or your destination. For example, if you are flying to Santiago, Dominican Republic, you'd enter airport code STI. In the "General Information" section of the eticket, if for some reason, you can't enter your city of residence, then enter the nearest large city. For example: if you reside in Elkins Park, PA but the site won't allow you to enter Elkins Park, then enter Philadelphia instead.
